- Can I park my real estate license in Nevada?

- Can I keep my Nevada license active without joining the MLS?

- Do I need NAR membership to keep my Nevada real estate license?

On an inactive license you cannot legally earn a dime of commission.
- Can I live outside Nevada and maintain my Nevada license?
- Yes. Your Nevada license stays active regardless of where you live. Many Just Referred agents have moved out of state and continue referring clients nationwide through their Nevada license. There is no Nevada residency requirement for licensees.
- How do I transfer my Nevada license to another brokerage?
- It depends on your current status. Active licensees have their current broker sign Form 505 to terminate, then file Form 504 to transfer to Just Referred ($20 fee). Licenses inactive under 30 days also use Form 504; over 30 days requires Form 544 reinstatement first. Brand-new licensees file Form 549.
